The Milwaukee Cupcake Company, LLC, is a woman-owned, family-owned business. Owner Deborah Gale traded in her corporate career for a lifelong passion of baking and obsession with cupcakes. Deborah, along with her sister Patti, have created a one-of-a-kind venture aimed at making your meeting, event, party, wedding, or just your day, unique and special, with scratch-made, freshly-baked cupcakes.
We operate a walk-in retail counter, which is open 10am-5pm Monday through Saturday (Tuesday – Saturday during Jan – March); we carry a variety of cold and hot beverages and have a café/seating area. We also operate a unique catering business that is capable of creating an amazing spread perfect for your occasion! We are capable of custom décor, as well as custom flavor development for our catering customers; we also offer display equipment rental, delivery and setup services for weddings, large parties, showers, corporate events, etc.
The Milwaukee Cupcake Company creates scratch-baked cupcakes crafted with the finest pure ingredients including fresh Wisconsin butter and eggs, Guittard cocoa and chocolate, Madagascar vanilla. We use absolutely NO preservatives or stabilizers, and never ever boxed mixes. Our handcrafted recipes are done the old fashioned way, with very much attention paid to detail during our batter and buttercream preparation processes. On top of all that, we bake FRESH every single day, and NEVER sell day-old cupcakes in our cases. Our entire business model revolves around: Baked from Scratch, FRESH every day! We also source from LOCALLY based companies whenever we can, and believe strongly in supporting our local business owners.

Associate Baker: Do you enjoy working with your hands? Do you like creating things, and breaking a sweat whilst doing so? Are you professional, and motivated? We are seeking an Associate Baker to help us with scratch batter and buttercream prep, batter panups, decorating and general cleaning duties. This is a laborious position: you must be able to lift 50 lb bags of flour, and buckets of batter. We seek someone who loves to keep busy, and is not afraid of HARD work. This is not just a decorating position; only hard workers and self starters need apply. MUST have prior foodservice experience, ideally in a bakery setting, or having previous bakery product experience. MUST have strong understanding of measurements and equivalents, and be able to do math. Must not be afraid to get dirty!
